To get the most from your miniListings application, you want to tell as many people as you can about it. In addition to showing it to clients and prospects, you can also use social media tools such as Facebook, Twitter, a blog or newsletter to get the word out.
Here are a few examples:
Facebook
Post a message on your Facebook page (preferably your business page) that tells people they can use your app to search properties using their phone. Keep in mind that Facebook is very popular on mobile devices, so make sure to include a link to your miniListings app so people can simply click the link to instantly start searching properties. Don't forget that you can post the link more than once, too. Write a short post before a long weekend as a helpful reminder to let people know they can search properties using your miniListings app and that they can contact you anytime with questions by pressing the "Call Now" button.
Twitter
Make sure to "tweet" about your miniListings app so your followers know about it. Just like Facebook, a lot of people use Twitter while on their phones, so include the URL to your miniListings app in your tweet so people can instantly start searching properties using their phone. Also, just like Facebook, you can tweet about your miniListings app multiple times so new followers get notified and existing clients are reminded about your miniListings app.
Blog
If you are maintaining a blog, write a post about your miniListings app that explains how to access it, how to use it to search properties, how they can bookmark it, and how to contact you through it. You can use these support articles as reference as well as the screenshots we send to you when we setup your account when writing your blog post(s).
In addition to writing articles about the app, you could also include a note in the footer of each blog post you write that says "Search for properties using your smartphone by going to <your minilistings URL> using your phone's web browser", where <your miniListings URL> is the miniListings id we assigned you or the custom URL that you setup . You could also include an image of the QR code and encourage people to scan it and then bookmark your app for faster access.
Newsletter
Do you maintain a newsletter that you send out on a regular basis to current, past, and prospective clients? Make sure that you tell them about your miniListings app in the newsletter. You can periodically include a note in your newsletter to remind your clients about your app, or you include a note in a "signature" at the bottom of every newsletter. Since a lot of people access and read emails while on their phone, a link to your miniListings app in an email newsletter can have people instantly searching properties using your miniListings app.
These are just a few suggestions of how social media can be used as a means to get the word out about your miniListings app. Remember that people won't know about your miniListings app unless you tell them, so make sure you are using all of your current communication and marketing channels to spread the word.
Friendly tip: Remember, there isn't any limit to the number of people who can access or use your miniListings application, so make sure you are using as many avenues as possible to get the word out. The more people who know about, the more people who will use it. When more people use it, it increases the likelihood they will share it with their friends and family, turning your miniListings app into a source of referrals.
