While it may seem old-fashioned, direct mail can still be an effective marketing medium, especially when farming neighborhoods. If you are implementing a direct mail campaign, be sure to mention your miniListings app on your direct mail collateral. You can do so by simply including the following statement (or something similar):
"Use your smartphone to get instant access to property prices in your neighborhood. Simply go to http://minilistings.net/minilistingsid using your phone’s browser. No downloads required.”
(Remember to replace “minilistingsid” with the personalized minilistings id we assigned you, or replace http://minilistings.net/minilistingsid with the custom URL you created for your miniListings app.)
Now, when people are curious about the value of their house, they can use your miniListings app to learn about the prices of similar properties in their neighborhood. Everytime they use your app, they'll be reminded of the value and service that you provide to your clients. Best of all, your contact details are on every property page so they can easily contact you with questions or when they are ready to sell their house!
Friendly tip: Consider using a QR code on your direct mail piece that takes users directly to your miniListings app when a potential client scans the code with their phone. If you would like a QR code for your app, feel free to submit a support request, and we will generate a free QR code that you can use in your direct mail piece as well as all of your other print marketing materials, including business cards, property flyers, and advertisements.
